NANO BEY is a professional singer, rapper, live performer and songwriter from the arctic of Norway.
Growing up, I had a traditional arctic upbringing aware of my roots as a sami and kven person mixed with a creative and urban lifestyle.
Equipped with a Bachelor Honours degree in Professional Musicianship from the prestigious university British Irish Modern Music London (BIMM), I am now preparing to release my debut album.
I am currently a student at Fagskolen Kristiania on the course Music Business to prepare for a professional career as a musician.
I was one of 4 main artists in the NRK documentary URBI-Bare Gjør Det! 2020.
In 2019 I released 2 singles, Red Riding Hood and Dandelion which was based on my arctic upbringing and sami history.
From 2018 - 2020 I was the bandleader, singer, songwriter and co-producer of the London-based pop band KOMET RAIN, where we got featured on playlists on the BBC Radio6Music as well as on national TV and Radio in Portugal for the release of our singles Monster and What My Heart Has To Offer.
I have participated the 3 first years at the Arctic SongLab as a topliner and songwriter.
